GMB is now Google Business Profile

Google announced last week that they’re rebranding Google My Business to Google Business Profile, as well as making some additional changes to how to access and update your information.
What's new in Google Business Profiles?
With GMB (Google My Business), any changes to your listing had to be done through the GMB control panel or the GMB app. Now, you can simply view your listing in Search or Maps, and be able to edit your profile right from the listing.
This makes updates a lot quicker and easier without having to jump through so many hoops to get to change information.
More power to Maps and Search
More updates to the Business Profile will be announced by Google next year.
What you can do now directly from Google Maps and Search includes:
- claim a business listing
- verify the listing
- send and receive messages to customers
- manage reviews and Q&As
In short, you can now get to your information in fewer steps. It’s always nice to be able to perform updates in two clicks instead of twenty, so this is a win for business owners who are already busy enough.
